My Life Portfolio

(links) Three seconds left. Two. One. Bam! Yes! I finally broke the brick! I just passed my black belt test! That means I’m going to get my 2nd degree black belt! Finally, after training for so long, my hard work has paid off! That’s one of my goals in life. Goals are like a guide which lead you on the right path in life. You can go through life without goals, but you don’t know where you’ll end up. If you follow your goals, the future will open up to you!

In life, one must have some personal goals to lead an exciting life. My first personal goal is to become a 2nd degree black belt. I want to be a black belt because I want my parents to be proud of me from what I learned. I’m going to achieve that by going to class everyday and by practicing a lot. My next personal goal is to learn how to drive. That way, I won’t need to bother my parents when I want to go somewhere. To accomplish that I’m going to watch to learn and ask my cousin to help me. These goals may seem like a lot of work, but I know I can do it.

In addition to personal goals, I have several academic goals. My first academic goal is to attend UC Davis. Attending UC Davis is my goal because I want to get into a good college. To accomplish this, I’m going to get good grades. Finishing my homework on time is my next academic goal. My grades are okay but I want to do al lot better. When I get home, I’m going to start my homework right away so I can finish on time. Keeping up with these goals will be tough, but I’m going to try my very best to complete them all.

Having goals in your life will help lead you in the right direction. Getting my black belt, learning how to drive, attending UC Davis, and finishing my homework on time may be tiring but with a lot of practice I know I can achieve them. Now you know what goals can do to your life so make sure you have some goals!
