Directions
Classwork:
Write each word spelled correctly on a piece of binder paper. Record the accurate definition and a sample sentence for each word.

Homework: Using the definition provided in class, write your sentence and draw an illustration for each word.

Final Project: Create an illustrated dictionary for each new vocabulary word. See sample below. Your illustrations may be hand drawn, or pictures from the Internet, books, or magazines. Start working on this now, don’t wait until the last minute!

Grading Expectations : Your illustrated dictionary should be written in legible writing in pen, or typed. All illustrations must be colored. You must have all elements in the sample above (word, definition, illustration, original sentence – not plagiarized from a friend or the Internet). for all 27 words. Create a cover to your booklet, with your full heading and your assignment title. A.T. = Illustrated Dictionary. Arrange your dictionary in the order of the words above.
